Let's pause for a moment to admire the stunning design. Actually, we should take a moment to praise the designer, Nocturne Cover Art, because if I hadn't seen the Kindle Vella premade off which this cover is based, you wouldn't now be anticipating a new story from me.

Between a Witch and a Hard Place is the first book in the Vanessa Kinley, Witch PI Series. It's up for preorder now on Amazon (where it will be exclusive for a little bit) and will be available to read on 30 November 2021.

I'm not ready to discuss the rest of the series yet (still roughing out plot threads and such), but the covers Nocturne is turning out for the earlier books are amazing. I'll show those off soon, especially the one for the introductory short story, which I'm working on right now and hope to have out to you by the end of October.

This is shaping up to be such an interesting, fun story world. I'll have more about the characters and individual stories as the release date for Between a Witch and a Hard Place nears.
